This is a hybrid position – Some Remote Service Possible. Full 40 hours a week. Flexible schedule, either 5 or 4 days a week. The goal of this VISTA project is to evaluate NWCDC’s current processes, craft new systems, document successful ventures, and propose new methods for delivering training and assistance. Accomplishing these goals will result in more affordable homes being preserved and more cooperative workers being empowered. In the course of fulfilling these objectives, a VISTA member would become experienced in the cooperative business model and will acquire experience taking a project through many stages beginning with research and visioning and ending with launching and evaluating success. Key objectives include 1) systems improvement within a nonprofit 2) mapping and documentation of clients, sectors, and essential job functions 3) participation in and improvement of training delivery including the preparation and delivery of a new training events.
